Hot Tips
Navigating Parties & Events: Our Parties & Events page, found in the main menu, is a great way to find out about private parties and commercial parties close to you AND all over the world. Once you arrive on the page, you will notice parties listed in a grid view by date and distance up to (in most cases) a 200-mile radius. Important information, such as the type of event, location, event organizer, party criteria, and how many people are on the guest list, are visible at a glance. Click on the party flyer to open the full page to see more detailed information and to add yourself or request an invite to the event that appeals to you. You can even click Remember to save your choices for later. At the top of the grid view, you will notice the option to post your own private party; this option is only available for paying members of SDC. Once you post your own party, it goes through an approval process and then shows up on the party page and on your profile. The calendar button, also located at the top of the page, gives you the option to view an entire month at a glance, showing the number of private parties in green and commercial parties in orange on each day of the week. Click the day, and it will pull up a list of events taking place; if there are many events, you will need to click on Show More to see the entire list. A cool thing about the calendar view is it allows you to go back to previous parties and find those that were on the guest list that you may have met in person. The Filter button offers many options to help you find what you’re looking for. For example, you can search for webinars only without having to scroll through hundreds of events. Commercial events also have sub-categories to help you find specific types of events, like Fetish parties. Use the Saved Events slider to find the parties that you wanted to Remember for later. You also have the option to extend your mile radius or just type in a completely different zip code, state, or country, and the calendar will take you there. Always remember to click the OK button after making your selection.
