** FAQs **

Q - Is the event discreet?
A - Extremely, the event is being held in a normal bar/club. We have a private room/bar to ourselves with only those on the guest list allowed entry. The smoking area and other parts of the venue may be shared with members of the public, as you would expect in a bar/club. We ask that discretion is applied when outside of the social room.

Q - How many people usually attend?
A - This varies but the average is usually around 70 people. The maximum we would allow is 150. A list of those on the guest list will be posted on the forum.

Q - When will we find out the event specifics.
A - You should receive a confirmation message once you have been added to the guest list. Venue details will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the event. For the purposes of accommodation hotels in the SN1 area or near ‘Old Town’ Swindon are recommended.

Q - How and when do we pay?
A - Cash on the door, £5 per person

Q - What should I wear?
A - We are in a cocktail bar, so think sexy night on the town. The bar itself does not have a strict dress code, so as long as you are presentable and comfortable, you will be fine.

Q - We've never done anything like this before, what's it like?
A - Not hugely dissimilar to any other night on the town except you already know you have at least one thing in common with everyone else. Don't be afraid to start a conversation and get to know people, but equally don't feel obliged to spend all night chatting to one person/couple, it is a social after all!

Q - Can we play on the premises?
A - This is a hard no and may result in us being ejected or unable to use the venue in future. But there is nothing to stop you taking the party elsewhere, we won't be offended.

Q - What’s happening from 7pm?
A - This is a chance for you to meet other like-minded people in a neutral space so turn up, have a drink, chat, dance if you want to. The room is ours until 11pm.

Q - What’s happening after 11pm?
A - The private room will be opened up to the public. The club is open till 0430, you are welcome to stay, or move on to somewhere else.

Q - Is anything planned for afterwards?
A - Not officially, this is a social and nobody should feel under any pressure to take things further on the night.

Q – What if we want to play afterwards but haven’t made plans in advance?
A - No doubt there will be a mix of people in the room with the same idea. Don't be afraid to ask and make plans for afterwards, just please remember to be respectful if it is not the night for others.

Q - What if we can no longer make it?
A - We totally understand that plans change. It is no problem if you cannot make it, but we do ask that you let us know by DM so we can offer the place to another person/couple. (even if it is last minute, to save us standing on the door waiting for you).

Q - I can’t make the date, when is the next social?
A - We run the socials roughly every 3 months, the next date is released shortly after the previous event. But to keep up to date, feel free to hotlist or add this profile as a friend to keep updated with upcoming dates.

Q - I only have a single male profile but want to bring my wife/partner/FWB, can we sign up?
A - Not with a single male profile, we only allow men as part of a couple that have a photo verified profile.

** Please Note **

1) This is strictly a guest list only event, you must sign up in advance.

2) Couples must arrive together unescorted men will not be admitted.

3) If you’re attending the event as a couple, please socialise together and leave together.

4) Please respect the privacy of other guests when taking/posting photos.
