Two years ago we stopped going to Acanthus because the Club was in decline in in dire need of remodeling. Yesterday - more by chance - we gave it another try. The good news: They did some renovations. It still is a big club with lots of rooms and a great outside area. We loved the possibility to go into the garden, use the swings there and enjoy ourselves under the stars and with friendly spectators. We don't care much for food when we club, but for those who do: you will not leave hungry. Best kitchen in a Belgian club. Sauna, Jacuzzi are all renovated and fun to use. Condoms are easily available - same goes for towels and generally the hygiene is very much OK. They could add some sanitizer dispensers in the upper floors where the action is going on. The crowd was very mixed. Rather "normal" people in the 35+ age group. Not a posh crowd really. But mostly people behaved well and stuck to the rules. We were able to have fun with another couple relatively undisturbed. Criticism: Air flow in the upper floors could be better, the floors up there still need renovation badly. And for ladies wearing high heels the climb up and down is dangerous. Better bring your mountain shoes. We did not like the dresscode allowing people to walk around in street clothes in the dancefloor level. The mood would get hotter earlier if everyone would have to get into underwear mode asap. But well, we had fun anyway. They also could use some of the space to accomodate kinkier players. A bit more BDSM-equipment or differently styled rooms would be fun. All in all the Acanthus still is one of the better clubs in Belgium. Since Privilege closed definitely a top alternative in terms of party and size.

We zijn er nu twee keer geweest. Laatste keer blijven slapen. Is goed bevallen. Wij vinden het een mooie club en gaan er nu ook weer naar toe met kerstmarkt.

acanthus is en blijft nummer 1 in belgie,ze doen er ook alles aan om het beter en mooier te maken.ook proberen ze alles in top conditie te houden .in de jaren dat wij gaan is er veel veranderd en verbeterd .het is jammer dat we zo ver van wonen maar gelukkig kun je er op zaterdag blijven slapen

Acanthus used to be our favorite club for years, but in 2013 is has become a place to avoid: 1. The staff is unfriendly (in particular at the bar and restaurant 2. The menu is horrible 3. Orange-juice and apple-juice are from Lidl, no more Red Bull but no-name-energy drinks. 4. EVERYTHING is dirty 5. Not enough warm water nor towels 6. Wake-up-call on Sunday morning at 10h20 (with neon-lights), minimalistic breakfast. 7. Matrasses are broken, bins never emptied, no more control over single men. We definitely have to look for another club.

Acanthus is our favorite BIG club. We go other places, but we allways return to Acanthus.

Nice people - good food - one of the best in Belgium.

More than 28 months that we had been in Acanthus, our first Club in illo tempore, and we let us regret it ... to have wait 28 months. Super evening. Evening with a Western topic, in which one did not take part. Those, which played Lucky Luke did not disturb the others by no means. - Accommodation: large and roomy. Bar active Disco music. Lounge, which 2 years ago was attended still little, currently one there dances and celebrates until the small hours. The charming DJ attracts even youth. Bar Disco music or Lounge.. there is for everyone! - Kitchen: superior with the other clubs in Belgium.Starting at 8 pm untill the early morning. - Hygiene: it goes without saying in private evening it is different. Important: towels, as many as you want and perfect showers. - Price: when one likes, one does not count! Conclusion: One will not wait any more 28 months !

Niet te geloven. Al zo'n 10 jaar gaan wij naar alles wat ook maar op een parenclub trekt in Belgie en Nederland en steeds gaan we weer terug naar Acanthus. On-ge-loof-lijk die club. Niet de mooiste ( alhoewel!) niet alle dagen open ( waarom ook ) en niet de best bereikbare ( ligt eraan waaar je woont ) maar verdorie! STEEDS BOM-BOM-VOL EN DENDERENDE TRENDY MUZIEK! Wr vindt je TWEE discotheken met verschillende muziekstijlen? In Acanthus! Kortom, het verwondert ons dat er op deze site zo weinig kommentaren staan over deze top-of-the-bill-club. Ik weet het, we zijn hl enthousiast, ook over de speciale thema's en de top-dj's die er regelmatig komen spelen en... NEEN wij zijn NIET betaald om reclame te maken...

Third visit and it is still amazing ..hugh crowd but plenty of space and everyone having a great time .. they serious try to please and provide an excellent atmosphere. Would recommend to any 'new' swingers or people who want to enjoy watching, doing their own thing, being watched or joining in ..

Ook ik wil wat kwijt over ammehula... Omdat ik M & G heel goed ken en er menig uurtje mee doorgebracht heb ga ik zeker positief over deze club praten... Ik kan er zeker heel kort over zijn, het is een perfecte mix van gezellig uitgaan, erotische spanning, gastvrije mensen, enz... Kortom het is net of ik thuis ben daar ook al ben je een tijd niet geweest, je word weer als vanouds opgevangen... Carlo1970

Hi, When travelling abroad, you really need to see this club. It's one of the founding 'mega clubs' as seen in Holland for instance. Hosting 150+ couples each saturday, it proves it's worth if only by it's setting, food, crowd and abondance of space / diversity.
